Summary of Duties
The role will span a variety of functions in the day to day commercial running of the business.
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for:
Marketing Campaigns:
- Preparing copy and executing monthly E-shot
- Updating CRB website with weekly changes & liaising with web agency
- Organising 30th Anniversary celebratory events during 2010
- Direct mail campaigns for partnership promotions
- Running a communications programme to raise CRB’s profile internationally
- Preparing and sending out company brochure to prospective customers & partners
- Exhibition preparation & management
Field Sales Support:
Preparing simple quotations, checking orders and answering customer telephone/fax/email enquiries on behalf of account (sales) managers.
Market Research:
Assist in data collection by web and phone for special projects such as market research of suppliers, competitors, customers and potential collaborators.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
A newly qualified (preferably Science or Marketing) graduate (with Science-based A-levels) no later than 2006.
The successful candidate should be highly organised, project driven and determined to keep to timelines. Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic and an attention to detail alongside adeptness for Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook Email are assumed. A working knowledge of CRM databases and HTML experience is desired. This position would suit someone wanting to join a strong Sales & Marketing team within an SME with a solid commercial track record. This role acts as a training ground and stepping stone towards a progression in to the role of Marketing Manager or Sales Manager.
