Cambridge Research Biochemicals (CRB) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the above Campod event on Tuesday 4th November 2008
The event is part of National Pathology week and the BBC have kindly allowed Campod to screen the concluding episode of Silent Witness: FINDING RACHEL, followed by a discussion between Dr Benjamin Swift (Home Office Pathologist) and Professor Andrew Wyllie (Path Dept, University of Cambridge) about their differing experiences of pathology.
Campod (Cambridge Fund For The Prevention Of Disease) is a charity based in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge. Campod provides research equipment to scientists working on leading research themes such as Cancer & Apoptosis, Genomics, Immunology, Molecular & Cellular Microbiology, Parasitology, Reproductive Biology, Stem Cells & Tissue Regulation and Virology.
CRB supports early disease research by providing basic molecular tools, principally tailor-made peptides and custom generated antibodies.
There will be a charity reception in aid of Campod from 5.30pm.
